XDefiant
Designs for Ubisoft's XDefiant multiplayer shooter game.
Hired as a Senior Concept Artist I was promoted to the Concept Team Art Lead, managing and directing a small inhouse team and several outsourcing studios in the development of the character & asset line ups & skins for the xDefiant project.
Severely limited by a lack of production resources we were forced to focus on dynamic texture designs & creative effects over geometry changes, looking for creative ways to use theming & shaders.
The selection below from the game launch and final season releases showcases a selection of work from our team members and outsourcers that I had a hand in directing. By the time the project was cancelled the team had completed designs for 6 seasons of content.
